It is with the fondest memories that I often recall the hour I spent playing your guitar at the Alexandria Guitar festival this past summer. It was the one with the maple sides and back. I have been fortunate to encounter many, many fine instruments over the years. However, yours was very special, and quite unique.

It is not unusual to find "singing trebles", "strong basses", and "great projection" from guitars these days. Yours definitely had plenty of those qualities. What struck me was the balance of the response throughout the entire range of pitches on the instrument.

Consequently, I was able to easily manipulate the inner voices of the music I played in a way that I have never been able to previously, or since, on the guitar. It was like playing a piano. You may recall that I was slightly disoriented by listening to my music and hearing many of middle voices in a new way. Thanks for the awakening!

I look forward to seeing you (and playing your guitars again) soon!

"I had the pleasure to meet Ariel at a festival in Virginia in July 2007, and I found him to be a delightful person and a luthier of the highest caliber.  I was particularly impressed by a recent maple guitar of his, which I found to be a highly refined, beautifully constructed, and eminently musical instrument.  He is a builder that deserves to be widely known by guitarists in the United States."

"We are very pleased with our recent acquisition of a spruce and maple guitar by Ariel Ameijenda.   It is aesthetically complete, artful in both in appearance and sound... One of the most beautiful guitars in our shop, the workmanship is exquisite, with very tasteful use of maple in the back, sides, and binding. Well balanced spruce sound with good projection and a full tone.  Although new to the United States, this is the work of a highly experienced second generation luthier.   We have met many guitar makers in over 20 years of business, and  are fortunate to be able to introduce a talent such as Ariel."

My name is Ryan Ayers and I work here at Trilogy Guitars where Bill Kanengiser just dropped off your instrument.

Very impressive! We’ve let it acclimate over the week and we’ve put it in a few clients’ hands and everyone had good things to say about the guitar. The tone was punchy and full with a nice balance.

We would love to meet you and check in on other guitars of yours in the future and if you are ever in the States please contact us. We would be especially interested in a Brazilian or Indian rosewood instrument.

It's fine finishing, and decoration, are added to the quality of sound make me shocked at the first sound. It's trebles of a perfect tuning and bright, its powerfull bass put the guitar between the best I've ever tried.

I'm shure that your guitars will run the world with success.

"I love the sound of my lute, it has an incredible resonance. I thing it is due to the thickness of the top and other million of details that Ariel takes in account in his brilliant craftsmanship.

This are really instruments for the whole life ".

The Ariel Ameijenda  concert guitar is a piece off art. When I started to play it I first love the bass, with a round sound. After one hour  playing the treble became hight like crystal, a pleasure. Usually there' s a time off adaptation with a new guitar here, its easy to play from the beginning !

I compare with my other concert guitar( Bonadet) off 20 years. The sound is almost as high, the vibrato is natural and easy. When I make "tambura" the sound is like ''amazonia" musique.

One marvellous guitar, with soul.
With an incredible clearity and confort action in the moment of playing.
The sound is powerful, noble and precise.
Beauty and ingenery dancing towether, are the fruit of this wonder Ameijenda's done.
Thank you Ariel!

From my long collection of cajones, the one Ariel have built, its always the one
I use in my professional work. By it's elegance, incredible sound and easy action it has become in a fundamental element of my own sound.  The instruments Ariel makes, are built with such a love, knowledge and dedication worthy of  an artist, and  I recommend them unconditionally.

"I searched for a classical guitar for more than two years.  After playing one of Ariel’s guitars I knew my search was over.  It is easy to play, beautiful to look at, and sounds better than any other guitar I considered.  Everyone I've shown the guitar to is very impressed with the craftsmanship and the tonal quality.  Ariel does great work!"

I commissioned Ariel to build a traditional classical guitar for me. We communicated about what I wanted in the guitar and Ariel was able to translate my ideas into a beautiful, incredible sounding instrument. The guitar has a sound quality that is only possible from using the finest woods and the most skillful artistry on behalf of the luthier. Ariel is a master at his profession. The guitar is wonderful. He also kept me very well informed (with progress photos) throughout the construction. Finally, I want to say that Ariel is a very kind and honest man who truly loves his work.

Gracias Ariel !

"....I've found the Theorbo that I've tried really promising, with a really remarkable clarity and quality of sound. Besides a very interesting volume of sound for an instrument of small dimentions. The action is very good and the finishing very nice ".

...I've recognized in Ariel Ameijenda, a restless musician, a respect full luthier and an harmonic  human being. The guitar built by Ariel that I've traed is the fruit of consequence, not by chance. Clear balanced voices, easy to play by the hands of the player, and with this especial qualities that are not easy to find and invites as to keep on listening it's sound.
